About Tudug

Tudug exists to make everyday technology understandable. We turn confusing problems — a slow phone, a security scare, a baffling purchase — into clear, trustworthy answers anyone can act on.

What we do

Most technology advice online is either too technical, too vague, or quietly written to sell you something. Tudug is built differently. We publish plain-English how-to guides, troubleshooting, buying advice and free tools across the topics people actually struggle with: phones, computers, apps, smart home, internet and online security.

Every guide aims to do one thing well — answer your question completely, in language that respects your time and intelligence, without burying the point under jargon or filler.

Our editorial standards

Trust is everything in technology guidance, because bad advice can cost you money, data or security. We hold every article to a simple standard: it must be accurate, current and verifiable.

  • Primary sources only. We research against manufacturer documentation and recognised authorities such as the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) — never recycled from other blogs.
  • Claims are cited. Where it matters, we link to the official source so you can check it yourself.
  • Kept up to date. Guides are reviewed and dated, and revised as software and best practice change.
  • Genuinely independent. Our recommendations are based on merit. We are reader-supported through advertising, which never dictates our advice.
  • Private by design. Our tools run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, transmit or store what you type into them.
